Heating/Cooking Directions
Tur-Duc-Ken:
Remove Tur-Duc-Ken from plastic bag and place in pan that you will use for baking. Allow to thaw completely.
Thawing takes approximately 2 days in refrigerator.
Bake, uncovered at 350 degrees for 2 1/2 - 3 hours or until internal temperature, taken with a meat thermometer, reaches a minimum of 180 degrees.
Heating in boilable bags:
!!DO NOT USE THIS METHOD IF YOUR BAG IS LOOSE OR HAS A HOLE!!
This applies to any item that is fully cooked. Specific times will follow after directions.
Inspect bag, if bag is torn or broken, this method cannot be used.
Submerge sealed bag into 180 degree water (simmering), do not allow the water to boil. Use a large container with a rack or place item in a basket, then submerge. Allow item to heat for the time specified. **Use caution when handling hot bags**
Frozen: Thawed:
2 hours 1 hour Turkey
30 minutes 15 minutes Sides
30 minutes 15 minutes Entrees
Stuffed boneless chickens:
Thaw and remove from bag. Bake 45 minutes to 1 hour until internal temperature reaches 170 degrees.
Stuffed Pork Tenderloin:
Thaw, remove from bag, place in preheated 350 degree oven for 45 minutes - 1 hour, internal temperature should be at least 160 degrees. Let rest for 5 minutes then slice and serve.
Stuffed Pork Chops:
Thaw, remove for bag, place in preheated 350 degree oven for about 45 minutes (can cover with foil), remove foil and let brown for 10 - 15 minutes. Internal temperature should be 160 degrees.
Stuffed Cornish Hen: (This item is fully cooked)
Microwave: Cut hole in plastic bag, microwave on high for 4 minutes-serve
Oven: Remove from bag and place in preheated 350 degree oven for 30 minutes-serve
